About Brian
I can strike up a conversation with anyone, but I’m most energized when I’m deep in thought untangling a problem. My career began by distilling hours of interviews into clear, convincing messages as video editor on customer testimonial campaigns. After two decades cutting documentary-style video for global brands, nonprofits, and broadcasters, I realized what I loved most was transforming people’s stories into action.
That passion now powers my work in voice-of-the-customer research. I find people fascinating, and I especially enjoy exploring the cultural nuances of international projects.
I hold a BA in Film and Television from Northwestern University, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and in 2025 I completed Burke’s Moderator Training Essentials.
I’ve freelanced with market research firms Bazis Group, Candor Co, and Right Arm providing video deliverables, qualitative analysis, and collaborative report writing.
